Walter Anderson Museum of Art

Bridge to Bridge (B2B) Coastal Tours
The Biloxi-Ocean Springs Bridge was destroyed by Hurricane Katrina on August 29, 2005. The bridge lies in a twisted mass as result of catastrophic wind and storm surge from Hurricane Katrina. Road closure along the coastal area was problematic during the recovery efforts. The bridge has been rebuilt and was opened to traffic on November 1, 2007. The 1.6-mile Biloxi-Ocean Springs Bridge accommodates six traffic lanes and include a shared biking and pedestrian path. The new bridge structure provides approximately 95 feet of vertical clearance to accommodate marine traffic.
